To take advantage of the Charge Smart MA Referral Program, administered by National Grid’s authorized agent, ev.energy, thefollowing terms and conditions apply:
Access and Participation
● Any National Grid customer (“Referrer”)who has received an invitation to the Charge Smart MA Referral Program directly by email may participate.
● Each participant may refer a maximum of 4 new participants annually.
Eligibility
● The referred user (“Referee”) must download the Charge Smart MA app via the iOS App Store or Google Play Store for Android devices, use the designated referral code obtained from the Referrer,complete the Charge Smart MA profile and complete at least one qualifying off-peak EV charging session before the offer closeout deadline listed above.
○ A qualifying off-peak EV charging session consists of a charging session tracked via ev.energy with the ChargeSmart MA app functionality turned on throughout the session, and the delivery of at least 10kWh of electricity to the vehicle’s charge.
Incentive Referral Bonus Payment
● Once a qualifying EV charging sessionis recorded by the Referee and their eligibility is confirmed by National Grid,the Referrer will be issued a $25 bill credit on their National Grid MA electricity, or otherredeemable cash equivalent as determined by National Grid, within either 60 days or 2 billing cycles.
● Charge Smart MA Referral Program has a budget cap of $25,000 USD for 2023.
Miscellaneous
● Referrers and Referees must be over the age of 18 years and must be permanent residents of Massachusetts to redeem this bill credit.
● This bill credit can only be redeemed once per National Grid MA customer household referred. If more than one National Grid customer (Referrer) refers the same household (Referee), only the first Referral Code entered will be eligible to redeem this offer.
● National Grid has the absolute right to determine how the cash equivalent offer is made available to the userfor redemption.
● National Grid retains the rightto amend or cancel this program without notice and without prejudice.
● National Grid is not responsible for any taxes which may be imposed on a National Grid customer as a result of the bill credit.
● National Grid will have sole discretion to decide on the final resolution of any issues related to the ChargeSmart MA Referral Program.
