California CCAs Partner with ev.energy to Create Statewide Virtual Power Plant
ev.energy, in partnership with MCE and SVCE, launches California’s first EV charging program to use dynamic hourly pricing as part of ChargeWise, backed by $1.6M in Phase 1 funding from the California Energy Commission. This innovative initiative aims to integrate EV charging with the grid, reduce costs for drivers, and support California’s clean energy goals by creating a Virtual Power Plant equivalent to three gas-powered peaking plants.
