How do I factory reset/restore the charger?

If you're experiencing bugs or issues with your Wallbox charger, performing a factory reset can often resolve them. Here's how you can do it:

1. Ensure Updated App Version

  • Before proceeding, make sure you're running the latest version of the myWallbox app. You can check for updates in your mobile phone's App Store or Play Store.

2. Log in to the myWallbox App

  • Open the myWallbox app on your smartphone and log in to your account.

3. Select Your Charger

  • Once logged in, select your charger from the list of available devices.

4. Establish Bluetooth Connection

  • Wait until the Bluetooth connection between your app and the charger is established.

5. Access Charger Settings

  • On the charger app screen, tap the "Settings" gear icon.

6. Navigate to Installation Options

  • Tap on "Installation options" from the settings menu.

7. Initiate Restore

  • Look for the option labelled "Restore" and tap on it.

8. Start Restore Process

  • Tap "Start Restore" to begin the restoration process. Keep in mind that the charger will be unavailable during this process.

9. Wait for Completion

  • The restoration process can take up to 15 minutes to complete. During this time, you may notice the LED halo powering off/on and rotating. Please wait until the LED stops spinning and the charger powers back on.
