How will I know when my car is being charged from my solar panels?

Once you have enabled solar charging, the ‘solar smart charging now’ or ‘solar charge scheduled’ statuses will be displayed on your app dashboard when a smart charge session is ongoing or scheduled. Check out this article to learn more about choosing the best time to charge your EV. 

After the session is completed, you will be able to see how much solar power was delivered on your session summary.

Please note that the states displayed on your app dashboard do not guarantee that we are drawing power from your solar panels at that moment or during your session. Instead, these statuses indicate that we are evaluating both your solar output and the current status of the electricity grid to decide which power source is more suitable at any given time.
