21 November 2022, LONDON. Electric vehicle (EV) software specialist, ev.energy, has partnered with Luceco PLC to provide the new BG and SyncEV chargers access to ev.energy’s market-leading smart charging app. ev.energy provides all drivers connected to its app the cheapest, greenest and simplest charging for their electric vehicle and even the ability to charge their car from electricity produced from their home solar power.
BG and SyncEV chargers will also offer access to shared chargers for customers living in multi-unit dwellings, enabling drivers to easily plug and charge their EVs and quickly pay for their charging sessions, among other features. Luceco and ev.energy are also working together on demand-side response projects in the UK to help make electricity grids more flexible with partners such as Flexitricity, UK Power Network, Western Power Distribution, Scottish Power Energy Networks and trials such as Project LEO.
With 100,000 app downloads and being the first UK company to deliver commercial demand response projects, ev.energy is the right solution for Luceco to enable rapid scale in its charger roll-out for home charging in the UK.
